India News(इंडिया न्यूज़) BSF jawan commited suicide: राजस्थान के बाड़मेर में भारत-पाकिस्तान अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा पर ड्यूटी पर जाने से पहले सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) के जवान ने शुक्रवार सुबह करीब सात बजे अपनी राइफल से खुद को गोली मारकर आत्महत्या कर ली। जवान की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

जानकारी के मुताबिक, गोली की आवाज सुनकर वहां मौजूद अन्य जवान मौके पर पहुंचे और घटना की जानकारी बीएसएफ के अधिकारियों को दी। घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद सुबह करीब दस बजे बाखासर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। घटना बाड़मेर जिले के बाखासर जाटों का बेरा (जेकेबी) चेक पोस्ट पर हुई। चोहटन डीएसपी जीवनलाल, बाखासर थानाधिकारी विशन सिंह पुलिस बल के साथ घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण कर रहे हैं।

वहीं पुलिस ने एफएसएल टीम को भी बुलाया है। जानकारी के अनुसार नीमकाथाना निवासी शंकरलाल गुर्जर (52) बाड़मेर जिले में बीएसएफ की 83 बटालियन में हेड कांस्टेबल के पद पर तैनात थे। शुक्रवार सुबह वे भारत-पाकिस्तान अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा की फेंसिंग के पास ड्यूटी करने के लिए तैयार हो रहे थे। सुबह करीब सात बजे चेक पोस्ट पर तैयार होते समय उन्होंने अपनी राइफल से ठोड़ी के नीचे गर्दन में गोली मारकर आत्महत्या कर ली।
